The impact will last for a long time
December 15, 2019

Sometimes you have those congresses whereby participants afterwards indicate that the impact of the event will last for a long time. A conference that is more than a large-scale gathering around a theme, in which many different people participate is our Inspire2Live annual congress. This time the event takes place–for the 9th time – on the 29, 30 and 31 of January 2020. Not only knowledge and insights are shared, but an effective interaction of all conference participants lays the foundation for a worthwhile future cooperation.

A good example is the ongoing contact between two European organizations of medical professionals: the European Hematology Association (EHA) and the European Association of Urology (EAU). The EHA promotes excellence in patientcare, research and education in hematology. The EAU is an active participant in public-private, EU-funded big data projects. These two organizations met during our Inspire2Live 2018 congress in Amsterdam. They kept in touch, exchanged best practices and shared challenges in a number of areas. Through these activities, EHA took a look in the kitchen of EAU and the EAU learned from the experiences of the EHA. The two organizations are now also working together more formally within the BioMed Alliance – the increasingly prominent voice of Europe’s medical societies. Inspire2Live is proud to have been at the forefront of the fruitful relationship between both professional organizations.
