Save the date Inspire2Live Annual Congress 2024

We are happy to announce that our Annual Congress 2024 will take place on October 28 and 29 at The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam.

This year’s theme will be Overcoming silent despair

Silent despair manifests in patients as internal anguish and is camouflaged by daily routines. Cancer often intensifies this existential battle.

The majority of patients who die from cancer are from low- and middle-income countries where the silent despair may be even bigger and more intense. We have to close that gap. All stakeholders in the medical industrial complex have their responsibility.

It is our belief that, by working together and placing the patient in the centre of healthcare, we can get cancer under control globally. Our Inspire2Live community counts more then 90 professional volunteers in more than 40 countries who are prepared to create a coalition of the willing and influence the people who pull the strings. We do this by executing on a clear project plan involving all stakeholders and our annual congresses have seen the start of many such initiatives.

Topic of our congress

Topics for this year’s congress are advocacy, access to medicines, molecular diagnostics, early detection, lifestyle and paediatric cancers.

Registration

Our congress is free of charge, but a donation via our website would be highly appreciated. Registration will start within a few weeks and more information will follow.

About Inspire2Live

Inspire2Live was founded in the Netherlands in 2010 and works globally with professional volunteers. We have initiated dozens of projects by simply bringing the right people together and supporting them to cooperate productively. Not just talking about cooperation but really working together and delivering concrete results and this is what distinguishes us from most other organisations. We are also supported by our ambassadors, including several Nobel prize winners.
