Our Annual Congress in January this year was honored with the presence and presentation of Olofunmilayo Olopade. She’s a medical doctor and professor in oncology at the University of Chicago.
Mrs Olopade studied women with a preventable breast cancer, especially women with a BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation. She studied the risks of these women and also showed the differences in risks between black and white wormen. A topic that needs more attention from science. Her work also counts for the risks in ovarian cancer.
It is beautiful to see her talk and to listen to her passion in helping women managing their risks for breast and ovarian cancer. Here’s the short introduction:
If you really want to learn more about this topic, it’s good to see her complete talk >>
We are honored and thankful for the excellent work and contribution of Olofunmilayo to our Annual. It’s wonderful to work with her.
