Discovery Network for Intervention Oncology: Surgery without incision
January 26, 2015

January 23 and 24 2015 Inspire2Live set up the first meeting of The discoverynetwork2015Discovery Network for Intervention Oncology: Surgery without incision. A new way of surgery with very little or no side effects even when it’s a surgery of the liver, lung or kidney. The aim of the Discovery Network is to promote these new techniques for patients. Make patients and doctors aware of these new techniques and make sure that every patient, eligible for this treatment, gets this treatment and not just the ones that are lucky enough to walk into a hospital where this treatment is already given.

During the Discovery Network in Amsterdam Inspire2Live brought together Intervention Oncologists of the USA, Italy, France, Germany and, of course, the Netherlands. The first steps are taken and now we are working on a project plan to realize the aim of the Discovery Network Intervention Oncology. We will probably meet again in May 2015 during the WCIO (World Conference of Intervention Oncology) in New York.
