I am a Patient Advocate of Inspire2live. I work as an ambassador of Fairbnb and as the owner of a B&B in France. I am the chairman of the foundation Jij Speelt de Hoofdrol and the treasurer of the foundation Nationale Kanker en Werk Dag. A major project is the yearly symposium for Breast Cancer patients held in October. One of the goals is to initiate a symposium from cancer patients for cancer patients where the participants can be themselves, ask all their questions to all kind of specialists. My father, he died at the age of 54, and my mother, she died at the age of 56, both suffered from cancer. Their early death changed my life completely. I want to help cancer patients to have better chances in having a good and sensible life after they had their treatments. My motto is live life to the fullest. I wish that for everyone.

My work as a Patient Advocate concentrates around cancer and work and organizing meetings/symposia for cancer patients so they can learn from each other’s experience and hopefully find their way back in society after they have been ill.
