Please update your calendars! The date for Inspire2live annual will change to March 30 and 31, 2026, at The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.

We aim to have all stakeholders represented at the annual. This includes patients and caregivers, who already donate their time, it is unfair to make them pay for expenses like transport or hotel.

Since our foundation is growing and we need more money to have our patient advocates present, we did not achieve in finding enough funding to realise this. With hard work and your supports we will we able to find the funding. We kindly ask the people that attend the meeting that are paid by their companies to ask their companies to donate or just pay a fee for attending. You can donate here >

That being said we are happy to announce that our Annual Congress 2026 will take place March 30 & 31 at The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam.

Mind the gap

The experience of cancer is life changing. Whether as long-term survivors or as loved ones of those who have died from the disease, we are never quite the same—and we never see life the same way again. The ever-present awareness of life and death places us in a constant state of reflection.

Within this space, a quiet resilience emerges. It sharpens our focus, helping us to recognise gaps that once went unnoticed—and compels us to ask urgent, deeply human questions: How can we prevent cancer? How can we detect it earlier? How can we make access to all treatments a reality for every person, everywhere? How can we help ease the suffering when there is no more treatment? How can we raise awareness in ways that truly mobilise action—action driven by compassion, commitment, and courage—to close the gaps that lead to so many deaths?

Our work is grounded in robust science. Years of dedicated research have provided us with the knowledge we need to drive real, lasting progress. But knowledge alone is not enough. To act on it, you must feel the urgency—the passion to start the changes so desperately needed in healthcare. It is only when you truly feel the gap that you can begin to see it, and only then can you act to close it.
