Gabriel Rabinovich on Novel therapeutic agents in cancer and autoimmune inflammation

A sweet adventure from an unexpected discovery toward the design of novel therapeutic agents in cancer and autoimmune inflammation. In this session, we will summarize a 30-years journey of basic scientific discoveries that led to the identification, design and evaluation of novel potential therapies in patients with cancer and autoimmune inflammation.

Gabriel Rabinovich is Director Laboratory Of Glycomedicine, Professor Of Immunology, Faculty Of Exact And Natural Sciences. He works at the Institute Of Biology And Experimental Medicine National Council Research) And University Of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

You can visit his organisation at ibyme.org.ar. Their goal is to investigate potential mechanisms underlying the pathophysiology of immunological, oncological and metabolic diseases with the ultimate goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets and prognostic biomarkers that could enhance the quality of life of cancer patients.
