Cancer is more challenging than COVID, and during what seems like an unending pandemic, we must come together in global solidarity to end cancer as we know it. I am inspired by the innovators who are partnering with patients to advocate for cancer patients everywhere. I am honoured to be associated with Inspire2Live because of their commitment to patients and collaboration with scientists everywhere looking for novel interventions to prevent or treat cancer and thereby reduce the global burden of cancer.
Professor Olopade is a pioneer in research that searches for the risk factors in breast cancer for black women. There is still not enough attention for the differences in race between women and the risk of developing breast cancer. Funmi is a great advisor of our work and has delivered an amazing presentation at our Annual 2020.
