As the Founder and CEO of Warriors of Hope, I lead an organization committed to providing education, support, and empowerment to individuals and families affected by cancer. As a Global Breast Health Educator certified by the Know Your Lemons Foundation, I have been instrumental in raising awareness about breast health across diverse communities. My role as an A Fresh Chapter Elevate Fellow allows me to inspire hope and resilience on a global scale. My dedication to holistic care includes a certification in Oncosexology from the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), where I address the often-overlooked sexual health challenges faced by cancer patients. My interest in cancer advocacy likely stems from my personal journey as a breast cancer survivor and the challenges I faced during diagnosis and treatment. Experiencing cancer firsthand in December 2019 and undergoing a radical mastectomy and chemotherapy gave me a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and financial toll it can take. This personal experience inspired me to become a voice for others battling cancer, ensuring they don't feel alone. I am passionate about improving cancer management and raising awareness so others can benefit from early detection, proper treatment, and support systems. Through initiatives like the Warriors of Hope and my role as a Know Your Lemons educator, I have turned my story into a beacon of hope, educating others and breaking stigma surrounding cancer.
