Who am I
I have a passion for Africa and love for its people as far as I can remember. I consider myself an African at heart and German by birth. I have spent an extensive amount of my adult life, learning, engaging in research activities and working with local and international organizations on the African continent. As at present, via my business development firm, Marti Connecting Africa , I help and support African governments, businesses and charities reach their public health and economic development goals.
My keen interest pertaining to health and business development drove me to secure an MBA from University, Kassel/Tubingen and an MSc (Global Health) from University of Edinburgh in Scotland in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Some of the global organizations I have partnered with are GIZ, WHO, FIGO and World Vision U.S. I have worked with several national governments to include Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, Rwanda Botswana, Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria among others
Why
My why is very simple. I am an ardent advocate for women’s health, empowerment and equity.
