Jessica Greenstein

My name is Jessica Greenstein and I’m the founder of the World Cancer Walk. I was born and raised in Hong Kong and have since lived in Washington DC, Prague, Brussels, London, and Jerusalem. I have a BA in Environmental Politics and the History of Art, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I am a primary school teacher by trade and founded the World Cancer Walk in 2020.

I started the World Cancer Walk in 2020 as a small personal project after hearing about the cancer diagnosis of a close friend and wanting to turn the feeling of helplessness into action. The annual World Cancer Walk took on a life of its own and has continued to flourish substantially since its creation. I continue to run the World Cancer Walk in support of cancer patients, their caregivers, and loved ones, to celebrate cancer survivors and to remember those who have lost their lives to cancer.

Community outreach with projects that are action oriented with an raison d’être of connecting people from all backgrounds.
