Ifeoma Okoye is Professor of Radiology at the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu Campus (UNNEC), and the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku Ozalla. She has been a medical practitioner for decades. She is a renowned scholar and researcher with over 60 scientific publications and more than 50 conference presentations, as well as the principal author of six books, all contributing to patient care, science and clinical practice.

She serves as an editor for 2 medical journals: the West African Journal of Radiology and the Journal of Medical Sciences and Hospital Management.

She is well-known for and has made important contributions to bringing clinical trials to Africa, an essential endeavour for improving patient treatment that cannot be emphasized enough.

Inspire2Live has known Professor Okoye, or ‘Ifeoma’ as she is known to us, for a long time. Her passion for patients is enormous. Her enthusiasm for making a difference for patients globally, particularly in underserved countries, convinces us that patients in her part of the world will benefit from good science and better treatments.
