Iris Mimpen

I am a postdoctoral researcher working on finding new immunotherapy targets for pediatric cancer at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Alongside my research, I would like to contribute to improving cancer care in a broader, more socially engaged way. I believe patients should remain at the heart of scientific research, with their experiences, needs and perspectives actively informing both research and care. Working with Inspire2Live would allow me to combine my scientific background with meaningful patient-centered advocacy, collaborate with people from different disciplines and countries, and contribute to initiatives that make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.
