Who am I
I am a Nigerian breast cancer survivor, Certified Patient Advocate, and founder of Engraced Life Foundation (ELF), a nonprofit organization advancing cancer awareness, early detection, and patient-centered care in underserved communities across the Niger Delta region. Following my personal cancer journey, I transformed my lived experience into a powerful platform for advocacy, amplifying the voices of patients and promoting equitable access to screening, psychosocial support, and quality
treatment.
As the founder and team lead of the PinkRoom Breast Health Schools Outreach, I have educated and empowered over 25,000 secondary school girls with accurate breast health information, body literacy, dignity kits and the confidence to seek care early. My work focuses particularly on bridging supportive care gaps in rural and low-resource settings, integrating
psycho-oncology awareness into community cancer advocacy.
Under my leadership, Engraced Life Foundation has achieved remarkable impact: hosting the largest cancer awareness walk in the Niger Delta, screening over 100,000 people for free across 85+ communities, and establishing comprehensive community healing and empowered survivors aftercare initiatives. These programs reflect my commitment to ensuring that no woman faces cancer uninformed, unsupported, or unheard.
I speaks at cancer forums, championing the inclusion of lived experience in policy design and health systems strengthening.
I am an advocate for survivor-centered storytelling and equitable cancer
care in Africa. Beyond cancer advocacy, I'm is a dynamic entrepreneur who birthed the largest gathering of female entrepreneurs in Nigeria's South-South region. Through BefabCityFair Marketplace, I hosts all- female tradefairs three times annually, empowering women financially and building a generation of financially independent female business owners.
Why
After surviving stage 4 breast cancer and enduring a wrong diagnosis that nearly cost my life, I made a promise: no woman should walk the cancer journey alone, uninformed, or unsupported. My lived experience is my credential, and my pain became my purpose.
