It’s that simple. 1 out of 3 people get’s cancer in their lifetime. In the Netherlands that is a total of about 110,000 people per year, 12 people per hour! Worldwide that’s 1 person every 3 seconds. People like you, me, with partners, children, parents, brothers, sisters and friends.
More research and improved access and implementation of treatments, aftercare and prevention are necessary. The global battle against cancer can and must go faster, smarter and above all in the interest of all people living with cancer and for a better quality of life for cancer patients worldwide.
