Meggi Schuiling-Otten

I have extensive experience in the non-profit sector, holding management and executive positions in youth care, adolescent psychiatry, and care for children with disabilities. Since 2018, I have been the director of the Expertise Centre for Pediatric Palliative Care. I also chair a European Reference Group for palliative care for children and adolescents and have been involved for years in national and international research projects, guideline development, and the integration of expertise into professional training programs.

I am convinced that innovations in healthcare based on patient experiences are important and that increasing the knowledge of stakeholders is crucial. Drawing on my experience in policy development, political lobbying, funding issues, and establishing network organizations, I want to contribute to strengthening the Inspire2Live organization from a supervisory role.
